To me, the most useful language is Igbo language. I don't know about you.

I am a hyper-polyglot speaker of 11 languages and if you have ever traveled out of Nigeria, you will know that the world does not revolve around only English. All of the 6 languages of the United Nations namely; English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese and Russian are very important. However, choosing the one to learn after English should be informed by your perspective of the world and what you aim to do with it as not everyone has the persistence and mental drilling capacity that multiple language learning requires.

The most spoking language in the world is mandarin chinese. Half of the world speaks mandarin.

Its Spanish, French and Arabic... If you have at least little ideas (basics) of these, You will be fine in any continent around the globe. Chinese language too is of advantage tho .
