Now I (Lady39) have a glimpse of what it feels like....true story.
"I'm sorry Lord."
Now I know how it feels to only be wanted for what one can "do" rather than who one "is".
"I'm sorry Lord."
Now I know that people know how to "fake it until they make it" (having ulterior motives) rather than being "authentic" & taking time to know someone & truly develop a relationship with him/her.
What an awful thing to do to someone...

"I'm sorry Lord." "Is this how I've been treating you?" "Please forgive me."
It took an object lesson for me (Lady39) to see..& I'm still learning..

What psychological itch gets scratched when someone debases themself like this?

"I'm just a worthless sinner"

"if I were God, I wouldn't let me live"

"I have killed thee, O my Lord. I have smitten thee on the cross. I reject thee and thy word, I never knew I was dross. Take me back"

"I'm scum; God is so fabulous for giving me my crappy life" etc.

Is the mental reward just that you get to curl up in a fetal position and have Mommy take care of you?

May God uphold you and keep you strong. Kindly try to disregard the rather deliberate attempts already being made to rile you up by Atheists. Its something they cannot help doing. Its like a drug they need to take daily otherwise their daily atheist quota would not be met.

smiley However you are very much welcome to the religious section and you can be rest assured that you have friends here in us who believe and Love Jesus. Keep your head high and your faith strong for His coming is closer now than when we first believed.

Shalom.

. I will also be willing to help you wait just like Ajayi Crowther

NO ONE CAN BE forced to be an atheist because it requires intelligence and critical analysis of the universe and self.

Your brand is known as ARMCHAIR ATHEISM. Its the kind you do from the confines of your cubicle and hiding behind a keyboard.

Truly intelligent people are practical.

The problem is that you have been poorly taught to ridicule yourself. You have wronged no God and there is no need to feel sorry. Love yourself, that's all!

Most humans are guilty of this. If you ask an average human why he or she loves God you will be certain to hear things like. .because he loves me,because he is almighty..because he is awesome and rarely will you hear "because I just chose to love him"

This is why human love will forever be conditional.

Now we also tend to fake it but it takes a real person who is truly sincere to bring his or motive to the open...

When we give we expect to receive good measure, press down shaken together...there is always an ulterior motive but as long as it is brought to the open and not hidden, it becomes a sincere one.But when you fake it by hiding the real motive then it becomes a sinister move just like many in churches who claim they love God by giving but in actual fact..they give only because they expect something back from God.

To know God is to go close to him...no one knows God from afar.

Just as humans...you do not know another except you get close, until you communicate deeply without fear and secrecy. In like manner no one can know God unless you go close to him and you destroy every for of prejudice about his sovereignty and have the determination to really know him in truth ...I guess you may never know GOD for who he is.

We all must work on ourselves. .GOD HELP US

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Proverbs 3:5-6

My advice for you is to try as much as possible to study your bible very well to know what GOD really want from us

My Sister, I must tell you, some pastor has lost it (the Doctrine of GOD)
What we have now is "church doctrine", so I will not want you to be a follower of a pastor but a follower of christ
Study your bible with open mind and ask God for understanding

And also please don't be discourage with the comment of some people here
Don't give meaning to they comment
The book of Romans 16:17 talk about them
"I appeal to you, brothers(Sisters), to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them."

May GOD give you the strength to hold it to the end (Amen)

Everyone's free to believe whatever they want to believe whether you share in that belief or not. It's not very nice to mock or ridicule people's beliefs, especially when they haven't done same to you.

As from the day my head was cracked open to see different kinds of text both in known and unknown languages, I discovered I can now play with words and control them as I wish. It was not a real song. I composed it the second when I needed it, yet I don't know the rudiments of literature I REP SCIENCE.
