Thanks for viewing this thread...

Please I created this thread to seek for relevant solution to what I'm currently facing.

I was offered admission into a polytechnic last year December & the school has resumed since last week, but I couldn't resume with my colleagues because there's no money at all to even pay my acceptance.

Yesterday, my parents were able to gather the required cash for my registration & immediately my mother went to deposit the cash in my account & I received the credit alert.

Unfortunately, when i woke up today, i got this disheartening message from GTBANK
"Dear customer, your a/c xxxxxxxxxx has exceeded the limit of #300,000 and has been restricted. Please visit a Gtbank branch with a utility bill & regulatory ID"

This is the real problem:
1. I'm just 18 years old & I don't have any regulatory ID (National ID, PVC, Passport, Drivers License ). Although, I've done the registration for National ID in December but I was told it'll be ready in January ending.

2. The deadline for registration in the school I was admitted to is Next week

What do you think I can do

PLEASE, ADVICE ME!!!

This is urgent,

This is urgent,
You can as well visit their branch to explain to the manager with the evidence of your admission and how urgent it is to get the money

Are you trying to tell us that your parents who by your own story could not afford to give you less than 50K to pay your acceptance fee were able to borrow over 300K and deposited the whole money in your bank account in one fell swoop? undecided

Poster above me is streetwise only thing is that gtb confirms validity of drivers license from Frsc website I know this for sure once I went to customer service for something random. All the time I was waiting the guy was checking my id online

Gather all the documents u used to open the account and go there asap Monday morning do u have a BVN? Ask to speak to manager and narrate everything don't accept excuses until u see operations or branch manager with all the prof plus school documents etc. Don't wait for answer online
