One way or another, the selfless part of us always wonder out thinking how we can be valuable to the world around us. Even when asked about our list of priorities in life , we write something similar to this:

1. God
2. Family and friends
3. Colleagues and neighbours
4. Others

Looking through this list again, the mother Teresa in most of us would smile believing we have been able to chart out the right approach to living a life of meaning.
But funny enough you are wrong.

You skipped one critical component....YOU

With you not putting yourself through the right improvement and training, you have next to nothing to offer any other person. This is simply because it is only what you have you can give.

A similar comparison is that of a mother who always tell her kids to be tidy and neat, when a glimpse into her life shows a lot of chaos and disorderliness. I need not tell you she is only speaking to an empty hall.

This only means that regardless of whatever you set to do and make an impact, the first step is to improve yourself on that path. Get some education and practice what you learn. That way your impact and advances towards serving others can be better felt and appreciated
