Who Is A Christian ?

It happened some days back in our business area, as one of my neighbors rented a new shop, and as he was doing the opening ceremony and there were different drinks.
I was offered a bottle of #BEER, but I refused and demanded for a soft drink - a #MALT, the person beside me was like.... "Why are you not collecting, and that by the way which church do you go? "
I told him, "It's not because I go to a church that made me not to collect or drink BEER, rather it's my personal conviction .
He said "But we're also Christians and goes to church too, and that in this world it's either you're a Christian or a Muslim etc... " I told him that it's a different thing for one to be a Christian, and another thing for one to be a Church Goer .
* A Church goer is a person that goes to Church normally every Sunday and does most of the things the Church says.
* While A Christian is a person that has made up his/her mind to Repent from sin and turn a new life to please God by making sure he/she obeys the #Words of God every day.... Thereby living like Christ ~ Christ-Like = Christian.

And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.)

Please Take Note Of This ......

If you are in church and you can't differentiate yourself from the world, then you're not a Christian yet

Are You A Christian Or A Church Goer ??

* Take Note:
There's a mighty rushing wind that's coming to blow on the Church, it has started from the Northern part of Nigeria now, and it's only the True Christians that will survive it by remaining #True and #Faithful to the Lord Jesus.

And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
[22] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

* Jesus loves you, accept His Lordship now over your life, so He can save you from the danger ahead, which is coming against this evil and ungodly world of sin.

A Christian is someone associated with Christ, be it Church goer, born again, a new born baby etc.

A Born Again is someone who has completely given his Life to Christ,and has become born of water and Spirit and become reborn in Christ.

If I may ask you please, why was the Apostles called Christians in Antioch

Everybody associated with Christ is called a Christian, but not everybody associated with Christ is a believer or truly born again.

Christian and church goer are the same (to me)
You can be a Christian by birth
You can be a Christian by going to church
You can become a Christian in other ways but you can only become a born again christian by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal lord and saviour
