Truth is getting an ex convict/convict to have education is the same has getting each and every one of us to go to school. The moment you are thinking there is a particular skill suitable for them, you've already sold out to the spirit of discrimination. Why must there be something suitable for a fellow brother? Or the fact that they've been to prison for a crime that many of us committed and weren't caught made them less human or worthy of only vocational skills? Some of this people even started school before they were imprisoned and the best thing for them is to continue schooling so they can fit in to the same society they came from. If you can't think vocational skill for yourself without education, don't think it for those brothers/sisters that erred but has been rehabilitated and reformed. |
