Award-winning artiste, Davido will be performing at the opening ceremony of the 2017 African Cup of Nations in Gabon.

The Sony Music recording act will join fellow compatriot Flavour and Tanzania's Diamond Platnumz at the Stade de l'Amitié in the country's capital as they raise the curtain for the 31st edition of the biennial men's football event.

The opening ceremony will take place just before the kickoff of the opening match between Gabon and Guinea Bissau at the 40,000-seater Libreville stadium
