Dialysis by olelle: 5:47pm On Nov 25, 2009
I know someone who undergoes dialysis treatment since 7 years now. I find it's a very hard life to face. For one, a person, who suffers from renal failure, has to go through dialysis 3 times a week for at least 3-4 hours per session for the rest of one's life. Weakness and/or tiredness, as a way of life, is one of the symptoms. Can't have relationships or can't make commitments to anyone of the opposite sex, if single. Job can be affected. Please share your views on this topic and of someone's experiences you know. Thanks for your comments and sharing with us.

Kidney problem or renal failure can be treated with herbs such as mistletoe, corn silk, ginseng, catnip, vervain, pure honey and others. On how to use these herbs mail to: herbaldoctor@live.com

Not really, I understand it's like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Re: Dialysis by olelle: 6:12pm On Nov 28, 2009
I've read that to get a transplant, the surgery has to be done immediately or soon after death if that is the means chosen. So how can this be possible, if true

Re: Dialysis by olelle: 12:47am On Nov 29, 2009
Yes thanks. please share your information, experiences of what you have heard, seen, known. That will be appreciated.

Everytime the person has to go dialysis, he/she has to be "needled". Maybe two in one instance. so imagine 3 x a week.

you have 2 kidneys, you only need one. she can get one from any relative that is compatable with her tissue type of even friends who are compatable. i have read of spouces giving kidneys and liver (only need half your liver) transplants to eachother

Thanks for widening of my knowledge. I've read so much about dialysis but never heard that one can give a kidney while alive. Is it safe for the donor to live with one kidney?
Re: Dialysis by olelle: 1:21am On Nov 30, 2009
abutec, what do you mean herbal doctor are trying too? trying to solve the problem.
Re: Dialysis by agathamari(f): 12:02pm On Nov 30, 2009
you can live perfectly fine on one kidney, one lung, half a liver (liver will regenerate) without a gallbladder, without a spleen, without your apendix, without your adnoids, without you toncils.

find a well trained dr.  if possible go to an actual hospital with international standards for the procedur.  DO NOT go to these local "hospitals".  you need a specialized surgen who ONLY does surgeries and notheing else

please please please remeber once your kidneys have shut down (stoped functioning) you only have a matter of days to treat the issue to maybe (not garunteed) to get the kidney to start functioning again. after 7 years NO "herb" will ever get it working again! dont risk your life on a snake oil salesman.
Re: Dialysis by olelle: 3:59pm On Nov 30, 2009
It's that so serious? I wonder how long can one live on dialysis treatment. I will check out some surgeons. Thanks for the information. Please inform me more. Don't know where to even start, where specialist surgeons are concerned. Thank God I have all my organs.
Re: Dialysis by agathamari(f): 5:33pm On Nov 30, 2009
first the person must be tested to find thier tissue type as well as possible donors must be tested as well. family mambers are your best shot. they MUST be the same blood type (not compatable types) to even be considered. dialysis is only recomened for less then 10 years but can continue as long as needed (no time limit). to the best of my knowledge there is an international standard hospital on the island. you will have to go there and speek to a nephrologist. also check out kidney.org for any questions

What is Dialysis to begin with? undecided
Re: Dialysis by olelle: 5:11pm On Dec 01, 2009
Dialysis is a medical treatment for kidney failure. A machine does the function of the kidneys, that is filtering the blood and removing the waste from the blood. The blood goes through the machine via a tube and is filtered by the machine and the blood goes back to the body, again via a tube. This takes approximately 3-4 hours, depending on how serious it is.

Re: Dialysis by olelle: 4:01pm On Dec 07, 2009
Thanks Agathamari for your concern. I was just being curious about this herbal thing, at the same time having my eyes opened.
This dialysis treatment is not an easy thing. My friend couldn't go to work after treatment on Saturday morning. Anyway, the patients had a Christmas dinner yesterday at the hospital restaurant.
