Fiverr is not an alternative. It's what a lot of people does full time and make a steady income. As long as you have a skill, you can work hard and you're generally professional, you'll make a reasonable income.

Listen friend, Fiverr is real, i'm also a freelancer on Fiverr, though I joined not long ago but i've started making sales on my gigs already. Provided you have a skill or versed in English language, then you are good to go.
