I just came off a thread on this nairaland where discussions are ongoing on the military killings of IPOB members in solidarity match for trump at Port Harcourt today and I couldn't help but weep for my dear country-Nigeria. The height of tribal hatred is just so much even when lives are lost carelessly. What saddens me most is that nairalanders are youths in majority which puts a question mark to our future peaceful coexistence.

For the records, though I am an Igbo(not IBO please) man I am not an IPOB member. I believe in a peaceful and prosperous one Nigeria. Nothing in IPOB's method of fighting for Biafra comes out to me as a serious means of actualizing it. Nations don't secede by carrying placards and disturbing the peace of the cities. Secession can only be achieved by careful thought out plans which includes but not limited to men of international repute coming out to voice their support for the movement and forming of formidable international alliances.

I don't understand the rationale behind the 'trump solidarity match'. For Christ sake trump is in USA taking his oath of office and has always said that its America first signifying that he doesn't care about any other country. You are here matching for him and getting killed over nothing. I can only pray that God forgives you and allow you into his Kingdom.

Now to the reason I decided to write this. I weep for this country when I read the numerous tribal 'text' wars in Nairaland. Most times you see one or more ethnic group members rejoicing on the death of members of another that was killed extra judicially by the military over nothing. We are all humans please!!! Life is life no matter the ethnic group involved and its very bad to rejoice over the mishap of another ethnic group if we truely want Nigeria to move forward. It saddens me to know that the nairalanders that do this are youths in their twenties to thirties. I can't help but imagine how the future of this country is going to be if our youths can overlook our differences and understand that we are in Nigeria together. Any time one ethnic group suffers, it directly or indirectly affects the others.

I currently work in a company with diverse people and have come to appreciate the benefits we can get from our diversity if we subdue the negative effects of our differences. We are one!!! I have learnt from both Hausa and Yoruba Engrs and have come to sometimes like their approach to work more than that of my fellow Igbo Engrs. No ethnic group should solely lay claim to absolute wisdom. We are all humans with limited wisdom of which if we overlook our individual differences and forge ahead together, Nigeria will be a better place. Please stop this hatred my fellow youths. We are one!!!

The recklessness of our military and their blatant disregard to life is what all and sundry should come out to condemn. No body should have the right to take a life he/she cannot create. If they have to, the rules of engagement was made to guide their actions. The incessant military killings from the north to the south is what everybody should condemn no matter the ethnic group involved.

When the unarmed shiites got killed in the north and Elzakszaky is been incarcerated unlawfully please let's unanimously voice it out that IT IS WRONG!

When the military opens fire on unarmed IPOB members just because they are protesting or doing a solidarity match harmlessly. Please let's voice it out that IT IS WRONG. What happened to the rules of engagement, use of rubber bullet or tear gas. Why will the military use live ammunition on 'unarmed' civilians and no one is telling them they erred instead we are laughing at the other party over the lost of precious lives. IT IS WRONG!

When the military out of their carelessness mistakenly bombed an IDP camp killing scores of people, instead of rejoicing at the grief of another we need to come together as one and voice it out that IT IS WRONG.

When the military open fire on unarmed IPOB members in their meeting, even though we disagree on their agenda that shouldn't stop us from voicing it out that IT IS WRONG that precious lives were wasted in such a manner.

When Fulani herdsmen go around different parts of the country killing innocent souls, please let's unanimously voice it out that IT IS WRONG.

When Southern Kaduna Christians are massacred, we owe it to them to voice it out together that IT IS WRONG.

My fellow youths, I urge you from this day onward to stop rejoicing or laughing at the grief of other people even though you don't agree with their ideology. We are human beings first before our ethnic groups came into play. A wrong is a wrong. Always say IT IS WRONG when it is actually wrong

Also include religion. Most of the IPOB supporters are brainwashed and are blind to reality. It's so wrong to shoot and kill unarmed protesters but I don't believe it's what happened. What I saw today in Port Harcourt was intimidation of Rivers people and most Rivers people felt insulted by what was seen as invasion of Rivers territory by tens of thousands of people from Aba denying them freedom of movement. The protest should have best been done in Aba or Onitsha which are core and equally large Igbo cities where IPOB is popular.

It is painful but it is the truth because all the jobless miscreants masquerading as IPOB/MASSOB are all Imolites. Why should they go and disturb the peace of Rivers state? Why didn't they take their protest to Owerri which hosts the largest population of IPOB/MASSOB?

Most of these protesters that were killed across Igbo cities which they have protested are all from Imo state, which means that IPOB/MASSOB is about 95% Imolites including its leaders. Below is an Imolite killed in Onitsha/PH by the soldiers.

The truth is that, An injustice to one is always an injustice to all though here, there are those that rejoiced over an injustice to IPOB but they don't understand. Nigeria is a place where people are killed any day by anybody at anytime. It's clear that everybody will start rejoicing the killing of his opposition or enemy for whatsoever or where ever. It's not only IPOB members that will be killed. Killings will continue and all of them, from now,will be to the glory of gods.
