So i estimate i would spend about 70,000naira. My question is; can i make what i invested with good profit after sales of the cassava tubers.?.what profit sum can i expect? Thanks

You will make more than 100% profit with the current price of cassava/gari in the market. Just don't allow weed to overgrown it. And control the rodents. You're good to go.

If you want to make profit, the time is now. Cassava is scarce and buyers are searching.

Apply fertiliser when due and weed at the right time. trust me you can get up to 30k profit per hectare.

OP, beware of fallacies and focus on facts and figures. Have you taken the time to actually do a cost estimate of what it will cost you to acquire the inputs?

- how much is a bag of fertilizer and how much will you need on a hectare of cassava farm?
- how much do the required agro chemicals cost?
- what is the end product of your cassava? (selling raw cassava gives you only a three-day window to sell after which the product will rot). Frankly, you should start thinking of small scale gari processing and I am sure you should have got a market for it.

These are questions you should answer first to be able to know if you will make your money and some.
