It uses your airtime and converts it to data. there's no need for subscription.

let's say you have N100 you use 30MB you'll be left with N70. you can make a call of N25 and be left with 45N. you turn of your data for 2 months and still have 45N. You use 35mb and you'll have 15N left.

It's flexi

MTN is making money, but the company standing in their way of making even more is Glo.

The other providers are terrified of Glo, as Glo doesn't play by the normal rules of profit & loss, balance sheet & all the rest grin

Mike Adenuga is ready to give out ALL data and call times for free if need be grin

Are you saying Buhari's poor leadership hasn't affected the telecoms industry.?
No. You said that. Am simply pointing out my assessment of Airtel and its poor service delivery which is directly proportional to its management structure.

DeLaRue:
Biggest problem for Airtel, Etisalat and to a lesser extent MTN is GLO.

Glo has made it a very challenging market for operators because of its very low prices.

Airtel will eventually flee Nigeria. Etisalat will prob stay longer becos Arabs do not like to be 'defeated' when it comes to money, but how long can they keep losing money.

I'm not sure if Glo is making profit, but it seems willing to sink its competitors and prob itself. It's a dangerous game, but I think in the medium term only MTN & Glo will be left and then prices will likely go up.

Who told you they are not making profit. Adenuga's wealth increase sporadically at 2016 of which comes from the telecommunication arm of his business.
