Real Madrdid's hope of winning a treble this season was brought to an end last night following their 2-2 draw with Celta Vigo. The result means that Celta now progress to semi final on 4-3 aggregate, having won the first leg 2-1 at Santiago Bernabau. Ever-delivering Ronaldo as well as Vazquez both hit the target for Madrid but defensive flaws, notably from Casemiro, and Danilo's own goal, ensured the white Angels did not progress to semi final of Copa Del Rey for yet another year running. Madrid are currently facing injury crisis which saw some key players side lined. The result shartered Madrid's hope of trying to win a treble ( La liga, Copa del Rey and Champions League) this season. However, their hope of winning a double (La Liga and UCL) is still alive and intact, though it still remains a very difficult feat to achieve by any club in recent time;- defending UEFA Champions League title. Therefore, let's watch and see if they can set the record this season.
