Should You Attend A Wedding Reception Without Attending The Church? by francotunsco: 12:41pm On Jan 26, 2017
Often times, people who have been invited to wedding programmes with invitation cards bearing the time and venue of both the church/mosque fail to attend. Statistics from personal observation shows that only 15-20% of reception attendees attended the church/mosque for the actual marriage. unfortunately, only few people from those who attended the church/mosque make it to the reception hall; some of them are too busy for such 'frivolities' while some find the reception venue too far, below standard or sort of. I am personally offended seeing people patiently seated in the reception hall while the actual marriage is going on in the church. How on earth will someone do that?
