You are so fixated on the last president. If I may ask, did Nigeria start existing with the last president? I made it clear that this is about Buhari and his anti-corruption hypocrisy, yet you can't help but bring jona into it.

OK, he's a better "option" than the last president, but he's still very corrupt, bigoted and tribalistic. He is in no way the messiah and saint he pretends to be. Agreed? grin

Bro, how you dey? Hope u are having a great day.

Bros I think you are the bigoted and tribalistic one here my dear friend. I you go to our previous conversations, you will see many comments from you that were from a bigoted view. I still maintian that he is far better than you man and will still defeat him in a Presidential election if it is held tomorrow.
Saint and messiah I do not know about, even Jesus who has the toga of messiah and his deserviing followers are called saint did not find it easy with the Judas and Pontus Pilate of his massage. In the context of what Buhari is doing he is doing his best. It is left for us citizens to do our part to ensure he is on his toes and corrupt principalities do not thrive.

lol...

anytime you call those monikers, it cracks me up because all the negatives they raised against GEJ is presently happening under PMB.

I tried to tell them to criticise with moderation & an understanding of circumstances, but they preferred going extreme. now the shoe is on the other foot.

So because one farooq conjure some stupid adjective about Buhari and another ewu Ndigbo that lacks proper reasoning calls my attention to it then you expect me to take them both serious or dignify them with a response?

Even you I just want to tell you that if GEJ fought corruption by just less than 1% of what Buhari is doing now whether one-sided or not things wouldn't be as bad as you guys says it is now. 18billion is the amount said to have been recovered so far yet no conviction so far and it could have been more than that if corruption and corruption loving people like you aren't fighting back.

If Buhari is chief executive of corruption then GEJ is the god of corruption.

as usual, you are hilarious!

isn't it your so called 'integrity' PMB that is trying to exonerate his thieving SFG?

you are the ones that love corruption & every day, your hypocrisies are being exposed.

at least my own corrupt GEJ fired some of those accused of corruption rather than going as far as to defend them in writing just as your cunning PMB has done.

besides, IPPIS, TSA, BVN, money laundering act, FoI were some of the processes/policies put in place by GEJ to curb corruption.

in fact, without the BVN, EFCC won't have been able to trace one red cent.

you forget that it was under GEJ that those doing roundtripping with PMS were arraigned (even the former PDP chairman's son was not spared).

I totally agree that GEJ's administration had issues with corruption, but you guys shouldn't come here to preach holier than thou.

you can't condemn corruption under GEJ & try to exonerate it under PMB, that's hypocrisy.

I remember when I told you that even under PMB, corruption is thriving & I mentioned the forex issue & was hoping to see you on the thread that carried the news of the ongoing scam.

as usual, 'you jump am pass'...lol.

Let me continue from your alleged "jump am pass" as you clearly did it by mentioning the office of SFG as your identified case for Buhari but in your acceptance of GEJ's legendary corruption status you didn't specifically mentioned those you claimed he "fired" because of corruption but as usual if you are referring to the CBN Governor he that he did indeed FIRED then I quite understand the type of corruption that he is fighting the type happening even against Buhari now and we all know it is simply "corruption fighting back".

One of the religious books says "better is the end (implementation) of a thing than its beginning or (initiation) GEJ was only doing those things after he had entrenched corruption and the public outcry so much that it was a prominent elections topics/issues even uptill now. So GEJ wasn't going to really implement those policies by the letter, it was already gathering "dust" as it were, it is Buhari's government that is now doing not just talking to mplementing and enforcing and that's more commendable.

I do not exonerate corruption neither do I cover it up or "fire" whistleblowers like GEJ does even uptill now.

As per bush cutting or deforestation activities and here is a reliable quotation; it'll cost about 195,000 Naira to cut or deforest 1 hectare of land or to put it in iron-man language it costs N195,000 for an 8 hours work of caterpillar minus cost of lowbed so multiple that by the the number of hectare that was given to the company that the SFG was formerly a director and then I will agree with you whether there was a question of moral liability by giving the work to that particular company or that the contract was over blotted in the likeness of monster called "corruption" which GEJ is the god over it.

The disgusting thing about corruption in Nigeria before now and still shines even now in people like you is that you agree/know that someone is corrupt but yet you praise and respect him even worship them without being sarcastic about but literally. It pains me deeply not because if feel I can be perfect but because I know I can be excellent instead.

the primary post mentioned those that GEJ 'sacked' for corruption so I don't need to repeat that.

you ignored the policies I mentioned but ran straight in trying to defend the SFG with some farfetched analysis, yet if someone tries to also analyse the issues/variables under GEJ, you blow a fuse, hence the crux of the matter of your hypocrisy.

you accuse others of supporting corruption, yet you go out of your way to defend it when your our old man of corruption is accused. you defend Buratai, RA, BRF, JKF, Kyari & other corrupt elements.

well, am not surprised.

if you can support a man who lied about not owning a multi billion naira home in Abuja; a man rather than show us his certificate chose to hire 15 SANs on the issue of just service of notice; a man who preaches made-in-Nigeria but vacations abroad & sends all his kids to school abroad... then its futile discussing with you.

you worship a liar, thief & hypocrite, yet you have the temerity to accuse another of what you presently glorify in excess.

also note, I have NEVER sought to totally absorb or defend corruption under GEJ or any other government, I only point out extreme opinions like yours that smacks of double standards & seeks to turn recent history on its head.

however, if you feel you have a right to provide explanations for negatives under PMB, its only fair that others be allowed to do same for GEJ or any other person they may so desire to provide explanations.

Corruption under GEJ is proven beyond doubt what we have now with those people in Buhari government is allegations of corruption that needs to be proven to me with evidence and confession once exposed before I can take a stand against them. All what is going on against Buhari is the corruption that is simply fighting back.

A classic example of character aserssination and the usual muckraking you throw at me can be mistaken by others to be my true position or stand against corruption whereas corruption in any shade is repulsive to me. Corruption is a cancer my brother so it has to go through chemo treatment everytime.

The corrupt people during GEJ and PDP didn't just vanished they are still around and Buhari once confronted with hard proof has the integrity and courage to fire who ever is proven guilty unlike GEJ he"ll not fire the whistleblowers or dismiss the evidence like he did with Stella Odua, Diezeni Madueke, Abba Moro etc these proven criminals were still with him during the elections but are staying at bay now for GEJ to appear clean. Was Berth Nnaji corrupt? GEJ sacked him too!

Please don't "jump am pass"

1. mentioned the people that GEJ FIRED for corruption?

2. How much will it cost to deforest the total hectares that the bush cutting contact of the SFG will amount to if N195,000 (this dependable figure that I can personally deforest 1 hectare of land for) per 8 hours of caterpillar work per day. If you'll honorable enough to show that calculations or tell me the total hectares of the land area given to let's say the SFG as you alleged and I'll tell you if there was corruption in the contract or not.

I'm waiting.....

you see, your 2nd point exposes a lot about you...

it shows you can reason logically when you have to defend your own person & that is exactly the point I have been saying. do not use blanket condemnations.

if it was someone you hate, you would have gone all out insulting & condemning the person without accepting any explanations no matter how rational. so I will accept your 2nd point & I hope you would be honourable too when an explanation is given to you when you want to shift the goal post of accusations again.

for your first point, I again refer you to the write up, am certain you can read.

corruption is a cancer, you won't get any disagreements from me on that.

but again, the issue is the double standards. now you say corruption allegations under PMB is corruption fighting back & its not proven, do you really expect PMB to agree that his regime is corrupt? same man that said Abacha is a 'saint' despite the evidence to the contrary?

why has EFCC not done anything about the petitions against the people I mentioned previously? again what about the forex brouhaha going on now? is that not evidence enough?

going by your 'new' standards, even the PDP people that are on trial, how many has it been conclusively proven where actually corrupt?

besides you claim PMB will fire if given evidence, come on, you know that's not true... or have you forgotten the budget padding controversy? what happened to the people involved? where they not moved to the cash office? is that a punitive measure?

look, apropos of anything, you are sound... when you chose to be, & we both seem to agree that corruption is a problem, a problem that did not start today... but which has to be reduced.

my differing opinions with you bothers on you 'seemingly' shifting the goal posts when PMB gets dirt over him while throwing the sink at GEJ at the slightest provocation.

the yardstick you use to criticise GEJ is the yardstick I am using on PMB.

at the end of it all, every government has its positives & negatives.
