Babachir Lawal's DIGITAL GRASS and Stella Oduah's BULLET PROOF BMWs....A tale of two president

Some times in 2013, the country media was awashed with public anger and rage with a disturbing discovery that the then minister of Aviation Stella Oduah, had bought two Bullet proof BMW cars for a whopping 250 million naira in the midst of an economy already showing signs of distress. From the media to the national assembly, to civil right organisations, to all well-meaning Nigeria and especially the then opposition party (APC), the consensus was general and the verdict was clear....Stella Oduah must go. The government responded by constituting an investigative panel to ascertain the culpability of the minister

Vividly, the then spokesperson of the APC Alhaji Lai Mohammed had questioned the rationale behind Jonathan's Panel and accused him further of being an accessory to corruption because Stella Oduah as the substantive minister of Aviation was among the President's entourage to Israel.

For weeks this matter remained at the front burner and was a major topic of discourse ahead of the 2015 general elections.
Following the unprecedentedness of the public outcry that followed the whole saga, the president issued a query to the minister and eventually sack her.

We had thought that with the coming of this present government and their stand on the issue of corruption and looting of public funds, cases like that of Stella Oduah will never be heard of...Unfortunately, it seemed we were only hallucinating or better still, we simply slept off on a moving bike

Babachir Lawal N220 million Digital Grass saga is another case of Stella Oduah 250 million bullet proof car saga....just that the players, the year and the Presidents are different.

Facts upon fact have emerged on how the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Babachir Lawal, allegedly awarded spurious contract of N220 million for the removal of wild grass and the provision of 115 hectares of simplified village irrigation in Yobe State and how the company allegedly subsequently transferred the money into another firm, Rholavision Engineering Limited (An IT firm), said to be owned by the SGF.

Chisos!!!! An IT firm clearing grass? The grass must be some kind of DIGITAL GRASS brought by the FULANI herd’s men from LIBIA AND MALI

The document are in the public domain, the nation's highest law making body has investigated and indicted the SGS but the action of the president was equally unprecedented....he simply clear his SGS of any corruption and in turn accused the Assembly of not doing a thorough a job….of not given his man fair hearing.

I think I would love to stop here…..I just wanted to do a simple comparison
