Wike is only agitated because he wanted to corner the machines but did not want to pay th ehuge sum of money required to pat Taxes (Clearing, Demur rage, import duty, e.t.c) on it.
Recall that under the GEJ administration, there was a "waiver" for the machines, which has lapsed.

So, what Wike tried to do is use the Nigerian Airforce to "clear" the machines (by asking them to take CUSTODY..... not OWNERSHIP!), and then after a while, turn around to REQUEST they be returned to him/his Govt.

By acting swiftly, the Customs Boss, nipped that "Wike-wayo" in the bud as the Aircraft now are the PROPERTY OF THE AIRFORCE.
Wike cannot request for then any longer!

Infact, the Customs Boss (intentionally or otherwise) said They are YET TO IDENTIFY THE IMPORTER!

It would have been considered a "lie" if Mr. A imported it and the Customs said it was imported by Mr. B.

Customs did not even mention Amaechi's name anywhere in its interview.

BTW: Why is everyone keep mentioning Amaechi as the Importer when the Report put forward by Amaechi said it was a 'Joint Venture' between the River State Govt and private Oil Companies in the State?
