Atheism is the opposite spectrum of theism. A belief that no god exists or a disbelief in all gods.
Atheism is fast gaining ground in this part of the world as the internet has demystified religion and exposed people to other belief systems or lack of.

But Man is religious in nature or has been so conditioned. Hence when atheists try to disprove beyond all reasonable doubts the efficacy of religion, what do they offer to fill the void?

Religion holds the world together. Some believe Religion emanated out of a need for the elites to control the masses.
Some times the societal and constitutional laws do not offer enough punishment and retribution so instead of only condemning the body why not make laws to condemn the soul after death?

Religious journey is a phase virtually everyone embarks on. But if Atheists question religion and all its doctrines, what do they offer?
What explanations do they offer for Man's existence? Purpose of Life? Death? What happens after death? The supernatural? etc

Doesn't matter what is offered. You can't unlearn a truth. When atheists say there is no God, it's because of the underwhelming evidence of his existence. We can't go back to believing in God because the alternative is too scary. Same argument was used to persuade Galileo to recant his work. He agreed. Didn't change a thing. The cat was out of the bag. We don't know how the future will look like without God/ demons/ supernatural beings. But we shouldn't be afraid to find out. Religion itself has evolved to the point what was taboo in centuries past due to ignorance is now accepted. Slavery has been outlawed. Females share the same rights as men. Gay people have been accepted as part of the multifaceted spectra of human sexuality. Like Galileo showed when he ' destroyed' the prevailing scientific knowledge of his time, change can be a good thing.
