LETTER TO 2 FACE IDIBIA
As it has already been known that 2face Innocent Idibia (A.KA. 2 Baba)is about to lead a nationwide protest on 6th February, 2017 against the Federal Government of Nigeria over the plunging downhill of our nation’s economy and standard of living.
There is an adage I want to state out clearly, it goes like this: “When you see a well-dressed and responsible looking man dancing on the road side without no sound of music being heard by you, bear it in mind that there is something inside the bush beating drums for him alone”. So I guess you should better be careful on how some selfish politicians with selfish interest should use you.

This crazy protest was as well slated on the same day that President Buhari is to come back to the country from wherever he went for his medical fix up. So, will staging a protest serve as a welcoming party for Buhari or does that mean that Tuface want to sack Prof. Yemi Osibanjo from the office of Vice President because I guess that Buhari will blame Osibanjo for not taking good care of a country he handed over to him for just two weeks….hmmm (I laugh).

Tuface let met talk to you that so that you can justify whether you have a morale value to stage a protest of such kind. I cant forget in a hurry about your sexcapades, having sex with all manners of girls without condoms, impregnating them and made babies all over the place. You invested about N250million in establishing a night club in 2014, this same night club known as “Rumours Night Club” located at 1st Avenue road, Festac Town, Lagos is now something else. I was there sometime in December 2016, infact ehh….. I will rather say that you are running a prostitute club in Festac Town.

During the Jonathan administration when lots of loots and stealing was going on where were you to protest, you didn’t come out because the government was favouring you as of then and that was why they gave you tow brand new Toyota Prado SUV cars during your traditional marriage and 29 people was later sponsored to attend your wedding in Dubai, no protest at all that time. What about the saga on who wrote the song “African Queen” & who stole the script. Please I beg not to talk more about your morale value here cause respect can still be accord to you.
I’m not disputing the fact that you haven’t achieved a lot as a musician to worth being giving millions of naira worth of gift but don’t loose your dignity. When I met you in 2016 in one school at Lekki, Lagos were you and I was invited for an inter-house sports competition at, I had a handshake with a great musician like you, I was like waoooo…..!! Tu Baba. I like few of your song especially from your first album career but am not your fan anyway.

As a musician you can stage a music concert and sing a protest song all through the concert and if possible wax it on CD plate and market it or rather you can emulate the life of Fela Kuti whom is a legend in the music industry. Fela’s song was passing a message to all the bad politicians and soldiers during his era as a musican
My brother/compatriot forget about leading a protest against the government because of the lack of there governance, please endeavor to govern your personal life first before going against the government, charity, they say beings at home.

An organized protest is a medium of expressing populist opinion about a government decision or running of affairs. A protest always comes from the downtroden. I do enter bus almost everyday inspite of being owner of a private car. In the bus, I hear the common men and women expressing bitterness about the present administration. The question is , is their bitterness heard by the government? If the government leaders do, they pretend not to have heard. A protest of this nature will enjoy media coverage and at this time government will feel uncomfortable and we want to save her face. It is a means to tell the opportuned leaders to buck up. A common man could not have speared head this kind of protest. Thanks to Idibia for volunteering to lead this protest. The common man and women are happy to be led in this type of protest. Irrespective of what Idibia gets to benefits personnally should not be concern to anyone but the concern should be the intent of the protest. Are we saying people are not suffering. Yes, people are suffering.
