@bboiabb
if deres anytin hv learnt in lyf, its dat one must alwaz speak ones mind(d truth) cos u neva know who is listening.

We cnt continue to pamper dis boiz, dey must knw dat failure is nt acceptable.
D days of golden bronzes ar over , i believe in d concept nigeria, i hv watched dis boiz play over and over nd its glaring dat d major problem with dis team is lack of passion and drive for success.

Some of us are talking abt d issues, instead of ignoring them nt because we wnt to be able to say "i told u so" wen they fumble but because we see potential in d team nd we knw they can do much betta if dey are pushed.

its not like i dont agree with you(i do). but what are you going to say that is going to change the team? even though one should speak what he/she thinks about the situation, who is listening and will want to go with what you say immediately. the NFF prolly believe that what they think is what stands although everyone tends to make mistakes. u see where im going??

i agree, speak ur mind (but also pray/fast that what you say will be heard an will be taken into effect) grin undecided grin

I thought I should update Nigeria on Korea's preparation, they're currently based in South Africa.

South Korea’s coach Huh Jung-moo has warned his players that they have work to do after playing to a goalless draw against Platinum Stars in Rustenburg yesterday.

The Taeguk Warriors arrived in South Africa at the start of the year to prepare for matches against Argentina, Greece and Nigeria at the 2010 World Cup in June.

The Zambia defeat was a wake-up call for the 2002 World Cup semifinalists, who are looking for the right combination in attack. With star striker Park Chu-young busy with AS Monaco commitments in Europe, coach Huh is trying to cast his net far and wide.

“We are continuing to evaluate candidates to fill the striker position, but if the current group of players fail to meet expectations in the friendly matches leading up to the World Cup, we will have to do without them,” Huh told the Korean media yesterday.

Koreans leave on a high
Posted: 2010-01-15 09:08

South Korea’s Taeguk Warriors ended their three-match tour of South Africa on a high yesterday when they beat Bay United 3-1 at Port Elizabeth’s Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

The Koreans, who will be back for the World Cup in June, head to Malaga, Spain for their next friendly against Finland.

Their coach Huh Jung-Moo was happy with the tour: “We played our first two matches at high altitude, but we were more comfortable here in Port Elizabeth. The experience we gained today will definitely help us for our very important opening game of the World Cup against Greece,” he told the Herald newspaper.

Umlilo coach David Bright was equally pleased with having had the opportunity to hone their skills against a national side like Korea.

“Never mind the result, we played well. It was a good experience for us to play against a well-conditioned side like Korea, especially since we just returned from the festive season break.

“The game provided good preparations for us for our next five games in the league as we look to fight our way into the Premier Soccer League at the end of the season,” said the Bay mentor.

The Koreans also downplayed safety concerns in South Africa during the World Cup in June, saying they felt “very safe” in the country.

“Since we arrived, we have had a visible police presence around us and we have no fears at all. We are really enjoying our stay. The people are very kind and there is great hospitality,” said team media spokesman Ilki Park.
