From NBS Social Statistics in Nigeria 2009 and NBS Annual Abstract 2010, 2011 and 2012,
i compiled the table below of missing persons statistics in nigeria, as found in the source materials listed above,
from year 2002 to 2007 and 2010-2011. I was not able to get info on the 2008, and 2009 from the
sources above, because they are not contained in them.

How realistics are these figures of missing persons for a 8years period for each state? Please look for your state, and see the figures
for missing persons for the time period and please share your opinion about your take on the stats, thanks.Please note that many of the northern states do not have figures for the years below. NBS gets its figures on missing persons nationwide from Nigerian Police Force(Annex).

if you dont understand how to read it, let me explain:
Just choose a state, and read the figures in it front, the figures stand for the total number of missing persons for each particular year.
You wont find the percentages in NBS statistics, i calculated it myself.Note also, that, this figures represent those missing only.When you subtract the figures of those traced or found, from the total missing persons figure per year, the statistics for each state missing person drops slightly.
