Woke up this morning could not get this question out of my head.!! How did they get it so wrong!! Emphasis on kogi state!! ..to be honest i am sometimes ashamed of saying am from kogi state.... kogi state structure have been bastardised by indigene's with selfish interest. Kogi state is a place where tribalism is at its peak , the youths are jobless and reckless.... we have heard of cases of kidnapping and murder of innocent victims travelling through the state, robbery is a normal thing .... The government should be among the top 5 most corrupt government in Nigeria...soo sad ... Now believe me when i say this our beloved kogi state is not going to get better, if we all continue to keep quiet it is time to unite, it is time to put aside tribalism. It is time to voice out no body can save kogi state except you....... .....#enough is enough

There is also the problem of tribalism which has Kogi highly divided as a state.

Kogi is seriously lagging behind in education as well.

The yoruboid parts of Kogi which include Kabbah, lokoja and Ebiras should have their separate state.

The Igalas (even though I have a soft spot for them) need their own separate state as they are too domineering in Kogi politics based on their population figures.

But that won't guarantee peace and development as there is no love lost between the Ebiras and the Yoruba Kabbah people.

I see the Igala speaking areas advancing faster than the yoruboid parts.

what a pity!! Thank God they even brought her back alive after payment we have heard of instances were they refuse to release the hostage..... things need to change drastically ....

what help her was that she was pregnant, after beating her merciless they dump her very close to a river, it was one Aboki(mallam) that later rescued her because she understand Hausa very well.

I heard the state govt is owing workers 9months salaries. Wonder hw workers in that state will cope in this hard times we face as a country.

Me think APC shud be held responsibly for the rot in that state.
A friend of mine frm that state has migrated to Bayelsa and even git married there.
He has said good bye to Kogi State.
