Good day nairalanders.
What am about to say here is just my personal observation.
The media is a very powerful tool or medium that can be use negatively or positively.
I never participated in MMM but never condemn those that did BECAUSE I believe they're adult who knows what they want for their life. Moreover many people tried warning them to be careful of the scheme BUT most common reply was IS IT YOUR MONEY ? Which is the bitter truth, its their money and they can do what soever they want with it.
What got me pissed is the action of people that are not member of MMM. They took it personal saying different kind of things about the scheme on Television, radio, newspaper and social sites condemning and indirectly or directly mounting pressure on the scheme until it crashed late last year.
Now its the turn of BIG BROTHER, I don't watch the reality show BUT never condemn does that watch it. Most people that don't watch the show are the people saying NBC should stop airing the show.
How many people have DSTV at home or subscribe the package that support the channel that air the show.
What of the parental control on DSTV? If you don't want your children to watch the show LOCK the channel now.
Where the LIGHT and TIME to watch the show ?
Lastly this show is not been aired on TV stations like NTA,AIT,CHANNELS,GALAXY e.t.c So why acting as if its available for all nigerians to watch.
My point is this please let's learn to mind our own business, advice when necessary if they take it fine and if not MOVE ON.Its their life not yours .

Thanks.

Nigerians are hypocrites, that's a known fact.
Worst "sins" are being committed and celebrated offline but when a pic is posted online, they will bare their fangs.

BBnaija is a 24 hrs reality show but clips of 2 mins be used by the hypocrites to run their mouth.

I personally don't watch it cos I don't have DSTv subscription, I only rely on what they post but I can imagine that the viewers have been watching the show for days before that incident that caught the attention of the rest of us. And those people are in the best position to tell us about it, not some writer who just bump on a 30 secs clip.

I heard there are signing, dancing and skills competition also, as well as discussions on wide array of topics on the show.

But still the same, I can't see myself spending my time to watch that show but for those following it, as long as +18 is written there and it is not free to air, who cares?

Thank you Sir for your sincere view ...Its not by force to watch the show...many people don't have dstv at home and have never watched the show before BUT the way they talked about it you will think its super story. Is it by force to watch the show ?
