some scholars have speculated the origins of american blues or american music comes from mali due to the slave trade, mali is considered by some the homeland of american blues.

That's very strange, i intended asking you about a musician called "salif kator" I know that's not the correct spelling. My Mother always played his music, it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I think he played the Kora, very soulful.
