In order to achieve the soft draping effect of a cowl neck,it is necessary to use a knitted fabric or a woven material which is supple enough to drape.cf should be cut on the fold and the grain eking on the bias to ensure the best results.for deeper drapes ,tucks may be added to the shoulder seam.By stitching tucks down by about 6cm,a pleated cowl will result.
