Nigerian Experienced Scriptwriters, Advise by gbenga9ja(m): 3:11am On Dec 15, 2009 |
I've just finished writing a Movie Script for a Nigerian Movie, its based on a True life story, action, romance, thriller, suspense, all in one, its well written and has the concept of an American Movie, spent a month and 2 weeks writing and tushing it up, its called Ordeals of Life What i wanna know is this How do i get a good buyer for my script? How much do they pay for a very good, perfect script with a unbelievably good storyline? How do i ensure it doesn't get stolen or get into the wrong hands and i don't get paid How many pages does it have to be?what i have right now is in Adobe Acrobat format, 150pages How do they write their movie scripts here in Nigeria cos i wrote mine the way its written in the USA How do i ensure the movie gets the type of 1st class acting i want and not just a movie that's rushed , i want it to be a movie that can be premiered in Cinema's across Lagos and even get international recognitions. If you are into script writing and you've got a whole lot of experience, help me out with this answers . Appreciate it |

hi gbenga, u sound quite interesting.am into scrit writting too but am sorry, i am without experience. i ve only had few scripts done, none of which has been comercialised. i wrote my scripts with the format of one nigerian actor, dir and producer(tchidi chikere). i got one of his scripts/screenplay but i ve been having doubt about the standard of the format cos he wrote, edited, screenplayed and directed the movie. as such, itz possible he narrowed everything down to suit him. i have the contacts of some nollywood directors and producers if u would like to get in touchwith any one of them. |
