[b]On my mind since over a week is the health hazard the Lagos Waste Management Authority/dump site management has unleashed on the residence of Ketu Ikosi and environment by burning/incinerating the dump site situated at Olusosun area bordering Ibadan - Lagos, 7up area.

The thick and heavy toxic smoke has taken over the whole area causing low feasibility to motorists and pedestrian alike.
This has been on for two days and counting, putting the lives of infants, foetus and the elderly at risk of possible chronic system failure or breakdown of health, abnormal fetus growth, and unexplained health issue respectively.

It is imperative to address this act of reckless discharged of lawful engagement at the detriment of the great population/inhabitant in the area. Every attempt to reach the agency to find solution to this hazardous exercise is void. We've been breathing consistently highly polluted air for several days now and still counting.

Government of Lagos state, your actions in this regards is not bad but executing same has brought total discomfort to the residence and it should be address.

Furthermore, during raining season, the bad smell that comes out from this dump site has a far reaching negative effect to over 3km away from the site due to perceived poor waste management system or techniques.

Dear Authorities, as a matter of urgency for the safety of our own Lagos inhabitants, all over, let us correct this mega potential monster that has saturated our atmosphere putting our lives at risk.

I enjoin you to please share this message till it reaches our vibrant and performing Lagos Government for a positive corrective action.

Warmest regards.
