Uniben Registrar Blames Federal Government For 20% Slash In Staff Salaries (PIC) by abuvictor: 6:48pm On Mar 12, 2017
The Vice Chancellor in collaboration with the Registrar and their criminal gang are at it again. This time around, they have decided to slash staff salaries by 20%. This, they did to illegally accommodate the massive employment of staff even when it it clearly pasted at strategic positions in the Vice Chancellor building that "employment has closed". Sources at central administration has it that people have been paying massively to get employment into the University of Benin. The worst part is that merit is being sacrificed for mediocrity.
As at the moment, the University of Benin is overpopulated with redundant staff since this VC assumed office, thereby putting a strain on staff salaries. Instead of finding a solution to the problem at hand, the Vice Chancellor through the Registrar have decided to put the blame at the door step of the Federal Government.
I am using this opportunity to invite the relevant security agencies to investigate the claim of the Registrar of UNIBEN that no employment of new staff was carried out between October, 2015 and February 2017.
Please see below the letter that is purported to have emanated from the Registrar office.
