IMMEDIATE-PAST Governor of Kano State, Dr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, may dump the APC for the PDP, a chieftain of the PDP in Kano, Alhaji Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, has said.

Daily Trust quoting the PDP chieftain hinted that the latter gathered from reliable sources that Kwankwaso had been contacting the national body of the PDP about his return to the party.

“I heard from reliable sources that the former governor is planning to dump APC for another party before the 2019 general elections and most likely he is coming back to PDP,” he said.

“It is not true. Kwankwaso has no plan to dump APC.”

“It is just mere speculations by some politicians that are envious of his political progress. Similar thing was said of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the former education minister, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau,” the State’s APC chairman, Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa, said while dismissing the suggestion.

As at press time, Kwankwaso could not be reached for comment.
