The 11th Convocation ceremony of Nnamdi Azikiwe University took place on 16th March, 2017. Thousands of graduates were awarded degrees.

Among them was, Ozofor Ikenna Henry, a CHEMICAL ENGINEERING student who took home the most coveted prize of OVERALL BEST GRADUATING Student with an outstanding CGPA of 4.85.

Ikenna who was the cynosure of all eyes stated,

"I entered the University with little expectation. I did not even know what GP meant nor what First Class was. My priority then was to make sure I made 'A's in all the courses I took.

The above goal demanded much sacrifice which I tried meeting through committed and consistent study.
It was indeed five years of serious mission as there were times of ups and downs, but God's grace saw me through all the challenges and made me the best.

I will not like to bore you with further stories. I am sure each and everyone of the graduands has their own stories."

He was offered automatic employment after service.

Although making first class in any accredited Nigerian University is no child's play but the conditions in some schools has made it so difficult for students to bag first class.Taking Chem. Engineering (UNIZIK)
as an instance,being a student of the dept we were told during our induction that this feat has only be recorded just once,the reason if I may suggest would be as a result of the tight school calender and non compromise policy inherent in the dept.Infact mentioning first class in my dept now attracts little or no attention as it has seemed almost impossible.

this is real,the society has neglected and discarded young men,women have colluded with older men to displace young men who are the tomorows men,they want to systematically bring them the glory of men by neglecting this younger generation of men,they want us to go down for them to rise,they know that there is no competition for masculine men,so they want future generation of men to be weak and have a low place is society.they want to turn future generation of men to house husbands like the western countries,they are weakening younger men economically so younger women will rise in future.the solution is not to protest,we are not women that protest,there is no force that can stop masculinity except men themselves,the older generation of men have betrayed young men and have sold us out,the solution is for young men to bind together,we should form strong bonds amongst ourselves,we should team up always and help eachother,help any brother in distress if u have the means.lets bond strongly and forge an unbreakable bond everywere we find ourselves,lets connect ourselves with jobs and opportunities,lets form associations,we that no force will bring us down. older men have betrayed us but we would never never be brought down,manhood will reign supreme
