One of the things I like about Ken is his being frank and sincere in his opinion, and I have not know him to pry into other people’s affairs, he wouldn’t ask details of what the problem is, he knows if I wanted him to know, he need not ask for me to say it.

“I don’t need to intervene?’ he asked looking at me.

“No, it’s nothing very serious’, I replied.

“Well, I think you guys can talk it over’, he said.


“I’ll try’.

“And how is your business?’

I told him about the registration and setup of the company, how far we had gone, and what we were doing at the time.

When I got home that night I told Ann I wasn’t okay with her taking the job, I gave her my reasons, which was basically on the reasons of building a home standard for the kids. She argued and gave reasons why she could go. The kids were in the boarding house and she would be coming over after every six months to spend two weeks before going back. I disagreed totally with her that night and she didn’t agree with me either.

That night we had the most serious argument that I can ever remember. At a time our voices was so high that people along the street could hear it. I was angry and it was all I could to control myself from striking her.

I didn’t sleep in the house that night for the first time after so many years of marriage. I slept in the abode of another woman that night. Abode of a woman that gives me temporary satisfaction whenever I had problems with my wife at home. I was comfortable for as long as it lasted.
