Inverters are based on different topologies and designs so the manufacturers, accredited dealers would be in the best position to advice on the installation proper if the inverter does not have any installation manual.

It is usually better to have the inverter installed by the builder, seller etc so as to avoid blaming you for any mistakes you might make in the installation process if done by yourself.

that's why nairaland is created! to give assist in whatever way we can! @ poster, i have been organising seminars about inverters and solar panels all over nigeria for the past 6 years now and thanks to Almighty God that it has been my only source of income. i make inverters for companies,banks,schols and any organisation that needs it, i even install for them and give free maintenance sevice.
to set up an inverter there are four stages involved:
the oscillator stage
the mosfet stage
the changeover stage
the transformer stage
these stages are also wat comprises an inverter. they all have thier specific functions like the oscillator varies and fix the frequency of the power input ,the cangeover automatically changes switch to chare the battery whenthere is a power suplly without destructing any inverter activity,the transformer stepd down the current from the input to be used by the inverter and thre mosfet i s in fact the brain of the inverter.

what are the requirements required to set up an inverter system that will meet a 6kva power demand,Nepa is non-existence in my area, what minimum capacity of generator do I need to charge the system?
