Yesterday I visited the chicken republic eatery at marina for lunch. After paying for my meal I discovered that 5% vat and 5% consumption fee was charged. Imagine being charged for seating to enjoy my meal! The next time you go to any eatery you may wish to order for take away meals to avoid this.

Consumption tax is the tax u pay for opening ur mouth to eat the food while value added tax (VAT) is the tax u pay for collecting ac, taking selfie in the restaurant, eying dat sexy chic behind the counter, watching cable TV etc etc. Hope my explanation is helpful  2 Likes |
