Beware Of Frozen Foods From Classy Frozen Foods Ltd Akowonjo by yajebu: 6:08pm On Dec 22, 2009
I went to Classy frozen foods located at 44 Akowonjo Road this morning to get cartons of frozen products for some of my customers. I got home to find out the whole carton of gizzard was rotten!!  embarassed It didnt smell when I purchased becos it was seriously frozen. I immediately took it back to Classy and all the grey haired insensitive and totally uncultured manager could say was that he would change it only becos he did not want to upset me I asked him if he did not see it was bad. His response: 'to you it may be bad, to us there is nothing wrong with it'. He asked one of his boys to weigh it for completeness and take it back to the cold room. I am still in shock!!! That thing will probably be sold to another person. All the cartons of chicken had sand particles on them. I complained and all I was told was to be more concerned with the contents of the carton and not how the carton looks! shocked
Scores of market women and caterers patronise this place which has been in operation for over 10 years.

My advice:
Touch and smell any frozen foods you buy. The fact that it is frozen does not mean it is fit for comsumption. When in doubt, err on the side of caution, dont buy!
Dont make my kind of expensive mistake, open the carton and check. If the seller refuses, DONT BUY!!!!
