Places Where You CAN Toast A Girl In Nigeria by DonX001: 3:18pm On Mar 25, 2017
I read this thread about places you shouldn't toast a girl and it was clear to me that the OP was a learner.

https://www.nairaland.com/3701637/6-places-should-never-toast

Most of the places he said you shouldn't toast are actually places you should do the toasting, if you know what you're doing.

So a lot of people were asking on the thread, where should you now toast girls??

So as a guy who's been on the streets for a while, I decided to give a list of places you can toast with good results, from personal experiences.

So that boys can know what's up.

Note that sometimes where you toast depends on your pocket and the things it can carry grin.

If you're loaded,

1. Shopping malls- eg Ikeja City Mall, Silverbird Galleria, Ozone in Yaba, Shoprite/Leisure Mall in Surulere etc. These are standard toasting zones if your pocket is secure. Just walk up to any girl that looks happy, calm and free, (not harassed o, she may bite you as you're coming at a wrong time, she may be rushing home to use the toilet), and strike up a conversation. Be sure you're looking good. Many times you'll end up strolling around and cracking jokes around the mall with her, and maybe buy ice cream with some snacks to cool off in one corner and you're good to go. If you come try buy her 1 or 2 small things to take home, my guy, you're already on the home run. She'll just go home and tell her friends she met one cute, funny guy at the mall today.

Any other time you ask her to hang out, its usually a done deal, and the 'waka' will sooner or later end up in your house, or on your bed if you want. If you have a car, that's a bonus and makes things much easier from my experience but even if not, still works well depending on your game.

Note that you don't have to spend a lot. No let any girl turn you to maga or open office on top your head.

Just simple chit-chat, be funny and reasonable-looking (not necessarily very good looking), and small money for snacks n ice cream, at most 1 or 2 small items (tell her that its to remember you), and you're good.

2. Cinemas.

Same as above. Block any single girl you see as you're walking out of the cinema n start discussing the movie, especially if its a sweet one. From there, u can accompany her towards the exit of the building and ask her to sit in one of those eateries in the building for a drink if she's not in a hurry. If she is, you can collect her number and continue the parole later.

3. Eateries/eating places- most girls sitting alone in are usually waiting for someone (their guy) to show up. So if you're sharp, confident and good looking, you can quickly block them, establish rapport and be on your way before the guy shows up. But its usually not that easy because most of them are a bit edgy and want to quickly discharge you before their guy shows up.

But if you meet a girl sitting alone and eating her meal, that's a good place to toast her. Just buy your food, carry your tray and go and sit beside her, then get talking. You can ask her for her meat with a big smile...lol.

If money no too dey, other places are-

1. Church- just make sure you look good and smell good (get a good body spray or perf, no go buy abo.ki spray o!). Walk up to her n talk after service, and go from there.

2. Long distance bus- if you're travelling, and you sit beside a fine girl, if you play your game well, things go pure.

You can initially form serious/keeping to yourself in the beginning so that you wouldn't look like you're too aggressive, but later on as the journey progresses, strike up a convo. It can be about the book she's reading, the phone she's holding, music she's listening to (if u can hear her humming a tune), something she's wearing or carrying, holdup on the roads, something happening on the road beside you guys, anything.

Note that some people don't like talking when travelling, (someone like me, I usually don't talk with the person beside me, unless its a fine girl of course). So if she's like that, n refuses to reply after multiple attempts spaced over hours on different topics, respect her privacy and just lock up. Its not your day.

You can buy something on the road, offer her too, or buy for her too.

I've had some good experiences on long distance buses, once i was travelling on the bus from Lagos to Calabar for Carnival with a fine girl beside me in the back row, by evening we were virtually rocking ourselves cos we had been left alone in the backrow, we later hooked up to have a 'happy ending' in Calabar, on another day of the Carnival.

3. Intra city bus like BRT, danfos etc- most times if I take public transport in Lagos I usually like to keep to myself, but I know people its worked for, and not just once or twice. Just use basically the same things I talked about above, just that you have a shorter time frame to establish rapport and collect number before you or the girl shouts "Owa"! Some crazy guys even come down at the girl's bus stop when that's not where he is going, or follow the girl to end of the journey past his own bus stop, just to continue their rapport. That's their own cup of tea.

4. After lectures- if you're in school, after lectures, just target her and walk with her down to her hostel, especially if she is alone.... many school romances have started just like that.

5. Weddings- girls come to weddings dressed to kill. Its for a reason. If you see a girl you like and she seems unattached, don't dull.

6. Parties- especially if you are a good dancer. I've known girls that started developing a soft spot for the guy simply because he could dance well.

Bottom line, you can toast a girl almost anywhere in this world, provided the setting is right and your game is tight.

The only places I think you should NOT toast a girl are:

1. In or around a Cemetery/grave yard or mortuary- Anything you see, you collect grin. Lol. Not that I really believe those ghost stories though, its just my personal aversion.

2. When they are in a group- girls usually form when they are in a group, so that they don't look cheap to their friends and become the subject of gist later.

So, for guys like me that don't like forming and "long things", I usually avoid toasting them when they are in a group.

But some guys do, and can get results too, so its not absolute. There are tips for such situations if you choose to try it out.

So that's it, from my days of experience back then as an active player in the fields.

If there's any one I've forgotten, feel free to add.

And guys, share your experiences from toasting in these places.
