I am still amazed at this particular technology by Harvard researchers. This smartphone device is created to allow help men check their sperm count at any where they choose.

Now, our smartphones are becoming smartdoctors.

Let's see the details on how it works:

The smartphone comes with 3D-printed case and the semen sample is taken using disposable microchip with an attached bulb. Then the sperm sample runs through the phone case where it lines up with the camera lens. After that, a particular app does the unique job, alongside the LED and other counting tech.

Awesome, right?



There are more findings that needed to be done. As to it may be able to detect deformed sperm and developments and side effects as well.

Because of FDA approval and other production barriers, it may take years for the product to be finalized and get to the end users. But the joyful thing is that, technology have grown to the extent of smartphone to smartdoctor.

The researchers aim is to deal with the infertility affecting up to 30 million men around the word and they are self-assured that they are really putting things together.
