8. Ifeanyi Ifeanyi (21 years) - Midfielder- Akwa United.

Ifeanyi just like Muazam is also a former flying eagles player he made the 2015 U-20 team to the U-20 world cup in New Zealand.

He formerly played for MFM FC in the NNL and in the Olukoya Boys' debut in the NPFL. Ifeanyi is a free kick expert, and as a result was the designated free kick taker when he was with the Lagos-based team. The 21-year-old is currently based in Uyo with Akwa United.

I'm not trying to be greedy but wat about Moses Ebiyi (Akwa United). He was a revelation last year with Ikorodu and he has picked up were he left with Akwa.

British media don't joke with their league..the publicity frenzy and over-hyping gets their players on world attention

..the likes of Michael Owen, Gareth Bale, wilshere , and thz new kid on the scene ( Dele Alli) and all

Assuming mbappe is an English prospect then you'll know pogba aren't worth 85 ..with their hyping the kid would be hottest property in Europe..

[b]Mbappe is the real deal though. That guy is a world class lethal machine at 21 years.
I wish Chelsea sign him like they did hazard. He is hazard 2.0 but with the lethality in front of goal.

My dear, Obinna Nwobodo is still a young lad. I know him too well.
Watching him in highly mega pix camera through your television doesn't add any thing to his age. Go closer and Look closely.
I see him almost every week, we talk and we play together.
So please don't just sit comfortable in your sitting room and be putting sand sand for somebody garri.
He's one of the players that does not falsify his age.

Chelsea is a world class team. Top of the dark horses for the champions league next season alongside Juventus, atletico madrid, and PSG.
We need players like mbappe to take Chelsea to the Real-madrid, Bayern Class.
Don't compare us to Arsenal.

I wouldn't Rule out MuaZam just yet..... I think he can be useful for our CHAN team alongside Odey and Any experienced forward like Mfon Udoh in attack.

And you are right about Nazifi.... he is indeed a big young takent. Watched him at Gauteng and I must say he got qualities needed in a fine striker.

Wow!

I love this thread!

From this list I would sieve out the following players:
1. Ibrahim Alhassan aka Muazam
2. Ifeanyi Ifeanyi
3. and Etor Daniel

We have seem them and know what they are capable of. Good players but not much expected from them.

4. Obinna Nwobodo we have seen and also believe would be a national asset if he keeps working hard.

The younger ones are where my interest would fallen fall on now. Who ever the next coach of the Flying Eagles would be, these boys deserve a look-in:

5. Nazifi Yahaya: In my opinion next big thing since after Victor Osimhen. He was the leading striker in the ill-fated 2017 U17 team. He jst came back from South Africa where he scored 4 goals in an invitational tourney.

6. Stephen Odey: Hot MFM striker. Already in the CHAN Eagles team. Though not eligible for the next U20 but would still be eligible for the next U23. He should give players like Victor Osimhen, and Orji Okonkwo a run for their money.

7. Elijah Akanni: Never seen him play but my eyes would be on him hence-forth.

8. Otun Fawaz: Seen him a couple of times with the 3SC team. Quite good and comfortable on the ball. Blessed with great skills. I would recommend this guy to the 2019 Flying Eagles coach.

9. Adebayo Waheed: MFM is known for parading youngsters in their squad and this is one of them. Our U20 handlers should be hanging around the MFM team.

10. Alhassan Ibrahim: A younger Alhassan Ibrahim. Never seen him play. But for him to have made the Kano Pillars squad even as a 17yrs old it means he is highly talented. Another player for the next U20 handlers to have a look-in.

6. Etor Daniel (23years) -Striker- Rangers

Alongside Obinna Nwobodo, Chisom Egbechulam, Etor was a menace when the flying antelopes secured their first league title in over 30 years.

In 2012 he was called up to the Nigeria Super Eagles home-based team. He made his first appearance for the senior national team and was part of the Nigeria U-20 2012 and 2013. He was also selected by Nigeria for their 35-man provisional squad for the 2016 Summer Olympics. Etor Daniel played and won with Nigeria team the 2016 Caf All Africa Games tournament and Caf U23 championship 2016. Although just 23, he has played for Akwa United, ABS and Enyimba in the NPFL.

Bruva, sadly, your example above is rife in our football and is a killer to the game's potential. I am an avid follower of the domestic game and one has seen a lot in the little time. Nigeria is a poor country thus it is normally expected for our football clubs to be poor with little access to sponsorship and minimal income generation from fans. However, nothing stops us from making huge income from player sales to foreign clubs if not for this age cheating syndrome!

Nigeria is a big market and we can be as competitive in the football transfer market like our pairs; Brazil, Turkey, Mexico, Argentina or Ukraine. We are also already well connected to the European market via numerous network of agents, administrators, ex-players, existing partnerships with La Liga etc. Nigerian clubs can have player sales as their biggest revenue source if we haven't abused trust on an international stage.

I give an example of how Nigerian clubs are loosing potential income. Imagine that Godwin Obajeh is 21yrs old and was top scorer with Wikki Tourists last season...imaging that they have a valid and long term contract with and thus he is still there this seasnon...imaging that he continues his run of form this season...imaging that he goes for CHAN and also plays one friendly match with the real Super Eagles...imaging that Genk (Belgium) or PAOK (Greece) spots him and open negotiations with Wikki for a deal...imaging a deal of Euros420,000.00...that is income of N160Million to Wikki Tourists!!!

This should have been the way forward for our league if only we can recover trust and knock out age cheating and ineffective contracts.

3. Adebayo Waheed (18years)-Striker- MFM FC

Another talented striker under the payroll of the Olukoya boys. The 18-year-old announced himself to the NPFL followers after scoring the only goal for MFM win against Kano pillars earlier this season.

He was brought in the second half of the game and paid the coaches faith by connecting well with a Stanley okorom cross with a header which sealed the win for his team.

I remember this kid picking race to go and thank his coach after he scored against the pillars. MFM is a club with a good tradition of youths thus far, even their coach is a young man. They should keep it up.
