The suspension of Ndume is illegal in its entirety. On what basis was Ndume suspended?. Section 20 of the legislative Privileges Act States that:

(1) Any member of a Legislative House who-

(a) being a member of a committee of the House, publishes to any person not being a member of such committee any evidence taken by the committee before it has been reported to the House; or

(b) assaults or obstructs a member of the Legislative House within the Chamber or precincts of the House; or

(c) assaults or obstructs any officer of the Legislative House while in the execution of his duty; or

(2) Where any member is guilty of contempt of a Legislative House, the House, may by resolution, reprimand such member or suspend him from the service of the House for such period as it may determine:

(3) No salary or allowance payable to a member of a Legislative House for his service as such shall be paid in respect of any period during which he is suspended from the service of the House under the provisions of this section.

Ndume wasn't guilty of "contempt" neither was he guilty of "fraud". What he did was just to exercise his constitutional right as a Nigerian and a distinguished senator backed by the provision of the law as engrained in several sections of the Constitution. For example:
39. (1) Every person shall be entitled to freedom of expression, including freedom to hold opinions and to receive and impart ideas and information without interference.

It's very unfortunate that we're in a country where the arms and tiers of government operates like occultic or fraternity group.

You people seem to forget that we have the judiciary.
Do you know why Ndume is not taking his case there?
You should reflect on that before you comment further on this matter.

What are nation did we find ourselves, for God sake? We all know that Dino Melaye's certificate called for questioning. There is know other words to be used than a fake certificate hold by a Senate of Federal Republic of Nigeria. Because how can he graduated in 2000 and served in 1999. This so called Senator's knows that if thorough investigation is embark upon into their certificate , a lot of them will be exposed for having a TORONTO CERTIFICATE. We Nigeria will not take that, we will still challenge that certificate in a law court because the V C have collected a token for his action, he has forgotten integrity. If Dino, is cleared of Nigeria Certificate, what of Harvard certificate that those with integrity make it known that he did not attend there University? @ channels interview on Friday @ politics Today Dino could not give an answer the question asked on his certificate on Harvard University that he claimed he attended. The Nigeria Senate house is full of hypocrites in power. God will help us.

I want to believe that there's something the Senate President did that he doesn't want Nigerians to know about, that's why he criminally got the office of the president of Senate. I believe he'll be exposed someday.
