the reason for my question is this:
there's a lady at work,nice looking 30-33yrs old, slim,set with all the right features etc etc.she lives with her friend in a self-contained flat and recantly bought for her self a rather cute rav4 jeep(AS A RESULT OF HER SAVINGS FROM HER OIL COMPANY JOB).
all the guys are laughing at her that she will never find a husband(one that is her age mate, who hasnt been married before/still married & without "bagagge"cos she "lives alone" & "is showing off too much wealth". what makes it more annoying is that one of the guys was her classmate in university & now he has a wife,child,car,oil company job and so feels like he knows what he is saying (after all he got married first! and he's a guy!).

so does a lady with a good job & nice salary package have to pretend in other to get a husband? what happens when the guy sees her "real colours" and he cant cope?

No, I don't think you need to pretend to get a husband, however, I guess you also have to try not to come off as a 'high maintenance' lady (even though you might be doing the maintenance yourself, at the moment). I would want to believe that real experiences seem to support the friend's opinion.

I'm not saying that living in a flat or buying a Rav4 SUV is not good for a single and searching lady. I think it depends on how much she really earns (and her position in her company). Nonetheless, Rav4 may not really be advisable, except she is Baba's daughter (Iyabo?). . . lol.

With a good value system a lady can attract her like, and need not pretend

i think guys are threatened by a well to do woman, so they wouldn't want to go up to her and ask her out because they figure, they will have nothing to add to the relationship since she already has everything, but then again they wish they could be with her, its not her fault she makes more than they could ever see in a lifetime, i mean she has worked her butt off to get where she is so they need to quit hating.

Guys just need to be confident in themselves, just because she has more money doesn't mean she has it all, if i was in her position i would move to another country and find a husband because a naija guy has way too much ego to end up with a woman that makes or has more than they do.
