After sleeping all day. I decided to go and chill with my goons in the lungu, few minutes into the chilling we started hearing gunshots and we saw police officers on motorcycles speeding away and some area boys chasing after them. The thing is Police officers in my neighborhood like to harass young men who are well dressed, they stop them and search them for incriminating materials, the idiot police officers even go as far as browsing through the mobile phones of these young men and God help you, you use an IPhone, you are in the biggest trouble of your life(any young man who owns an IPhone in Mushin is a Yahoo boy so says the policemen in the neighborhood ). Yesterday they stoped another young guy using an iphone7 and tried to arrest him for being a yahoo boy, the boy refused to go with them and the idiots started shooting sporadically killing an old woman who sells ojojo by the road side, they didn't stop at killing the old woman, the police men also shot the guy who raised the alarm on them and sped off on their motorcycles and buses. So all the youths in the neighborhood decided to go and drop the woman's corpse at the Olosan police station where the killer squad came from and Nigerian police in their own normal way of responding to situations like this started shooting tear gas at us(over 500 youths). So we retreated, reinforced and came back with bottles, stones and every other thing we could use to wreck to havoc on them as well. It's a been long since I got myself involved in something like this, but I just could not sit down and do nothing for I too had been harassed and chased on countless occasions by these people(policemen) whose salaries are paid with my tax. I hope they will stop harassing yahoo boys and focus on keeping the neighborhood safe, especially the policemen at Olosan Police Station in Mushin.
