I just got back from Jordan,Syria recently and I was priviledged to meet many palestinian refugees living there.

One shouldn't be swayed by the term 'refugees' as many thirtysomething year olds were actually born in Jordan and have some form of Jordanian citizenship. But the refugees in Syria don't generally have citizenship.
Palestinian refugees can be found all around the ME & North Africa but they are concentrated manly in Jordan/Syria & Lebanon.

I cannot tell you the discrimination they face from their fellow arabs ,its unbelievable !!!

Now my question is ,the palestinian issue has been made out to be a religious issue ,whereas its actually more of an ethno-political issue.

The palestinian population is actually about 20% christian, they(palestinian christians) face persecution from their muslim brethren, while the so-called 'christian' country-America ,actually supports the palestinians' common tormentor-Israel !

The activities of the 'christian' country -USA has adversely affected christianity in the ME,so much so that Iraq that had almost 1 million christians, now has about a quarter of that number still residing in the country, due to increased persecution not unrelated to US policy. My Iraqi friend tells me during Saddam's time, they broadcasted easter sermon on national TV in Iraq,Tariq Aziz,Saddam's de facto No 2 was a Christian. . . now all that has been destroyed by USA activities. The story is very similar in the West bank, where Bethlehem the birthplace of Jesus now has few local christians, yet MUSLIMS blame all these on CHRISTIANS !!!! isn't this rather strange
