My friend got a land in Abuja's and his agent is telling him that the No on the beacon is the Data No instead of the Plot No on the Offer letter. His agent was also saying he will pay for the authority to give the TDP paper of the land.

I do not have enough Idea about it to advise him that is why I brought it here. Pls who ever have the Idea should help him out so he will not fall into wrong hands.

Yes, what the Agent is saying is true. There is the plot number on your offer statutory right of occupancy, which is what is required. Then there is also that TDP (Technical Deeds Plan), which will be given to you by the Authority ( signed by the FCDA),; this is a survey plan of your plot of land showing the coordinates and other information about the plot of land. This TDP is always attached to other documents of the land. So, the Agent is saying the right thing, you are we I safe hands.
