Well, on assumption that you have a stable soil condition which means you would likely do strip foundation and with your foundation height not going beyond 4 courses, you should budget for something within the range of 1200 blocks for foundation walls.

If it wasn't for the size of the project which is quite small, I would have asked that you get a QS to do a bill for you.
But in this case, your architect should be able to do you a rough estimate.

The quote is fair. Lemme point out some red flags to you.
You can do two third quantity of pegs and approval
Cos of sharp sand is exorbitant. On lagos island, cost of 20 tonnes is around 45k. So there is no way you would buy 25 tonnes for that amount.

Please do a little research on the cost of cement in your area. Last time I bought cement was for 2500. Not in lagos though but the difference shouldn't be this much.

Cost of granite per ton is too much in my opinion.
Ifo is in ogun state and with some proximity to abeokuta, you should get granite cheaper than this.

Am wondering what extent of reinforcements you want to do on your site. It looks under quoted for.
Perhaps you have reinforcement rods already. If not, you would spend more than 10k on reinforcements.

Just like someone noted, reinforcement is underquoted and it seems to me you are not planning to do German floor, cos there is no provision for damp proof membrane, and the granite quantity is low. Please to avoid issues with rising damp causing your paint to flake in the future, consider doing German floor, in which case the granite will increase to a minimum of 15tons, your formwork/workmanship will also have to be reworked. Please speak to your architect. He should be able to handle this. If the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

In building am all about all kinds of sand as I am into sand haulage, I own a truck personally.

Bros the sand price he gave you is very corrupt.
If you are in portharcourt 25tons of sand to any where 32k will do it.

@ op ,why don't you get the service of a quantity surveyor/cost engineer instead of seeking for a free cost advice which is usually not going to be correct eventually.
Its like being being penny wise,pound foolish in my honest opinion.
Atleast you got an architect to design for you,do the same to get a QS for the cost.People should desist from trying to cut corners here.
If I may ask you,why don't you come here to ask for a free design from people too,my point is nobody will waste his or her time in giving you an accurate respond you need because they will spend their time is doing some calculations to get the feedback you required.
Don't take this the wrong way please,am just be truthful to you.
Please do the needful and people here should quit such behaviour henceforth cos you aint helping the profession.
You all are making seem Qs are not relevant in little building projects but only needed in big projects which of which reverse is the case.Qs are needed in all projects.

It is against professional practice and ethics to give you professional advice in a platform like this.

The best you can get is an advice from quacks or unregistered professional.

Why not work with the quotation your designer gave you, and if you don't trust him then buy materials for him & pay for supervision/ labour.

Am Joel, a practicing engineer,
The price he wrote for the sharp sand is crazy, sharp sand should be around 23-25k location matters.
For the granite, am sure he meant 20 or 25 tones, it is sold for per tonnage, depends on the location price.
The price estimated for water too is high, a tanker of water is 6,000
Workmanship can go for a lesser price too.
