Hi farmers, the rainy season is here again. Let's meet here to discus general issues affecting Cassava Farmers in our states & locations. We can also profer solutions to such problems. From production to marketing of all cassava products. The world is now a globall village & distance is not a barrier.

I hail from Kogi State and I am based in Abuja. I am already beginning a cassava farm in Kaduna State. Please let's come together and interact as cassava farmers irrespective of tribe, colour, class, status, religion, etc. & build a self sustained region. Remember, no government can employ all it citizens, not even in the US. Together we will make things happen and better too.

We can also help each other in sharing ideas e.g how to source for different kinds of improved cassava stems, how to source for fertilizers and chemicals that control weeds, how to source for cassava farming loans, how to come up with a bankable, feasible and operational business plan/Feasibility Reports on any aspect of the Cassava Value Chain, how to source for labour, how to source for more farmlands for cassava cultivation, how to secure readily available markets for our produce/products, etc. Sharing will help us in expansion too.

I am currently trying to set up a 5 - hectare Cassava Farm in Kaduna State and I'm interested in planting a very improved and high yielding variety of the TME 419 or Pro Vitamin A Cassava. If you have it for sale, let me know ASAP. I want to know how many bundles of it you have capacity to supply and your price per bundle too. Although I am open to all available options, I would prefer to source it from places not too far away from Kaduna State to avoid incuring excessive transportation cost. Thanks.
