Anybody that has driven that particular model of Volvo or knows anyone that has, Will know why I call that car a useless car.
As far as naija is concerned, that car wasn't made for the tropics.
It's number one problem is overheating and the engine warps almost immediately.
If you want that car, better keep money aside for a new engine.
A friend of mine owned one and I know 6 other guys who complained of the Same problem .
To be forewarned is to be forearmed

Obviously, this is not a car talk thread to discuss Volvo cars or 05 S40, this is an advert thread for sales of a car from someone. Why do you find it imperative to try and demarket my car? To what purpose does it serve you, if you had a bad experience, am I supposed to bear the brunt?

Besides, I challenge you to provide verifiable details of the 6 friends you have who drove the S40 and had bad reviews and I'll provide that of 20 peeps who drive and will recommend it anytime, anyday. Keep lying, only you get 6 guys that drive 05 S40 and yet the car is not on every street in naija

once people start talking tropics in their arguments I stop talking cos its futile

Ofcos, such people were there during the manufacturing and testing,and made inputs with the engineers where they all inadvertently decided that the car isn't made for the tropics therefore,its not to be used in central Europe,eastern Europe,the middle east,parts of the USA which are all hotter than Nigeria during summer...and ofcos,Africa

these same ppl will use mineral oil in turbocharged engine,remove the thermostat,wire the fans directly,overworking the poor engine and Start screaming overheating due to tropics and all oda unimaginable theorems

iv lived in a region where temperature reaches 40° during summer and no one uses 20W50 oil,or removes thermostat, or runs fan directly cos of dat....Lagos sef no dey reach 40
