You are one of few students have seen that want other sciences aside medicine.Bioxtry and microbiology are related and very interesting.However microbiology has higher job potential than biochemistry.The Ubiquitous nature of microorganism is a plus to a microbiologist because it makes them fit in2 a lot of industries such as pharmaceuticals,breweries,other food industries etc. I have 2 stop hear because i can write a book on this topic.In case you need more info you can call me on 08065761640
