Should Sir Alex Ferguson Be Sacked? by Sagamite(m): 12:41am On Jan 04, 2010
How can he take Man U to lose AT HOME to a team that is NOT a Premeirship team, NOT a Championship team, but a Division one team?

How can his team be struggling with such a team with Leeds having so much chance to score? Is this not proof that Sir Alex cannot motivate the players?

See the kind of goals they are conceding. A ball over the top and the striker has only one defender with him that was too slow. Does that not show that Sir Alex has no tactical nous? Is that not proof he cannot organise his defense?

Also see as Owen and Rooney were missing the target from Box 18 when they were clearly unmarked. Is that not evidence that the players don't respect him? And the team has no pattern if they cannot score an inferior team?

And when they were losing, instead of him to stand up and organise his boys till the last minute, he went to sit down like a clueless mumu.

Does Man U not need a foreign coach like Chelsea and Arsenal?  grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Sir Alex Ferguson should be sack because they lost a FA cup match against Leeds?? , That would be
definately  ridiculous.  grin. I mean with the man's reputation.,Hardly has a year pass without him bringing a cup to that club.
If top class managers get sacked like this, Arsene Wenger and Rafael Benitez would be long gone.

Sir Alex is a great man. They should not sack him. What they have to do,is to force him to sign big names and good players not small boy.Man utd still remain de best in England.

first and foremost, if he was to go, ur use of the word SACK instead of RESIGN shows how little u know football cos it will neva happen. SAF has earned the right to go 20yrs without a trophy, possibly die there on the seat and united will bury and mourn him.

I know Sagamite made this thread for the lulz - kinda blinking at the tards who want Amodu to be sacked before Afcon conclusion lipsrsealed

In the same degree of humor, I'd say that A. Ferguson cannot be sacked because he's the only manager that has the power to sack a chairman of a club like Man Utd. Yes. . . he's that awesome. cool

i think some times a hero needs to understand times, victories and glories passes so too heroism and greatness drops. well for me if he can't accept that he fails because of age, then he should be sacked.sir needs rest.

There's a difference. . . . .

SAF has won tonnes of domestic titles and several times in Europe. . . . .I think he is allowed to get it wrong sometimes.
When Amodu wins the Nations Cup ONCE(never mind doing it in a row like Egypt) then y'all should get back to me.

Amodu's lack of tactical nous is a different ball game. . . .

probably, but some united fans have actually solicited that albeit half-heartedly. anyhow, his own record speaks for itself. which one is Amodu's record. Cannot win SA premier league.

See this yeye man.  grin

Anyway, hope my points are proven once again.

I said it right from time that the excuses made by some for Amodu's sack is lame and I am yet to see a valid one.

After showing you records of Ferguson, Scolari, Hiddink and Lippi, I hope my 4 fundamental points are clear:
[li]Amodu has done well so far. Drawing (he did not even lose) with Tunisia or Mozambique or struggling to score is not a big deal and does not imply he is a bad coach, bigger teams than SE have drawn (even lost) to weaker teams (in par comparison of Nig to Tun/Moz) under world class coaches AT HOME. That is football, so stop the silly arguments that Amodu could only beat Kenya 3-2 AWAY.[/li]
[li]If you hire a world class coach, you might not get much better results than you are getting from Amodu because his record is already of a high quality. It is not a guarantee you will win Mozambique if you hired SAF who cannot take Man U to win Leeds, or Scolari who cannot take Portugal to beat Leichenstein.[/li]
[li]Sometimes players let coaches down. You do not blame the errors of players on coaches and then say they are a bad coach. Scholes, a 15 year veteran, lost possession of the ball like a schoolboy to Fulham near his defence that resulted in a goal, that does not mean SAF is a bad coach.[/li]
[li]There is no kind of defending error/lapse by the SE I have seen that is not normal even in world class teams. There are defensive lapses in every team, even the Italians, stop hyperventilating because oppositions get a shooting chance against SE. Our defenders are not GODs and even weak teams get goal scoring opportunities against world class defenders. Amodu has done well to ensure they rarely concede.[/li]

It is serious.

He should be sacked or they should get him a technical adviser to work under.
Re: Should Sir Alex Ferguson Be Sacked? by agabaI23(m): 2:37am On Jan 08, 2010
Stephen Keshi will be a perfect foreign coach to work with Fergie. Keshi will be the technical man!

agabaI23:

Naa!

I think they should hire Ten Cates to be technical adviser and for Ferguson to work under him so that the man does not lose AT HOME to the likes of Leeds or Besiktas.

These are teams which Man U should be thrashing 7-0 and 4-0 respectively under a competent coach. cool grin

SAF has won more trophies than most football clubs in England and how dare u sack someone like that?

if its given that UTD would win all games then why do they still bother to compete with other clubs;

. . . . when Amode was coachin, the best he got was a madela cup against a hapless club africain of Tunisia in 1990!!!! (his best laurel in footie was in 1990) shocked shocked shocked 10 years ago

has Amodu competed in the nations cup b4? yeah
has he won it? NO

Arsenal FC hasnt won anythn in almost 5 years but we all see how they play beautiful footie with an identifiable pattern

please what pattern do we (Super Eagles) play?

The worst performances ever in the history of Super Eagles are the recent world cup qualifiers; The eagles played like they were plumbers and artisans with no requisite footballing skills under the tutelage of a retard in chief -Amodu shaibu

he at best should be coaching effurrun fc

Nooooooooooooooo!!!

*Shakes head rapidly like a little child*  grin

A good coach must win at all times against inferior teams, otherwise he is a mumu sitting on the bench.

Abi naw?  grin

OK, Amodu did not win ANC at his first and ONLY attempt. He came poor, poor, poor third at first attempt.

How many seasons did it take SAF or Wenger to win Champions league? SAF, 12 years?  shocked 12 good years before he got it right?

OK, let me go soft. How long did it take SAF to win EPL? 6 years? He did not even win anything for the first 3 YEARS (when he won a paltry FA Cup) of his stay in Man U. So was he selling Epa and Guguru for 3 years?  grin So who is worse Amodu or SAF?

Give Amodu the quality of players and the funding you give Ferguson, Wenger and Hiddink before you can compare their achievements.

You give a white man Ferrari and then give a black man Jincheng Suzuki Okada motorcycle and you now praise the whiteman for completing the journey distance first.

You can as well say there is no black man intelligent enough to be a world class coach as there is none with any record strong enough to compare. Are you going to say it is because of lack of ability of black people? Or is it lack of opportunity?

The pattern SE plays is the one where the win by passing the ball around and do not lose. Never LOST, talkless of losing to ordinary, just, hopeless, little Leeds Utd!

How can you say winning 9 games out of 12, having 9 clean sheets and conceding only 5 goals in 12 without losing is the worst performance ever?

Come on! Come off it! grin

I dare say that is one of SE best stats ever.

Arsenal has not won anything in 5 years and Wenger is not a ret.ard?  grin

hahaha
SAF won a european trophy with Aberdeen beating an european giant

he won another european trophy b4 he won the epl with manchester United.

if you must know, SAF at one point in his career has lost some crazy games

Cradiff, watford, coventry, Leeds and a host of others but does it affect the man from winning trophies?
hell no

undisputed Epl champions presently; whats amodus record present and past

shameful and all he has for us is a flaccid display reminiscent of the old burkina faso

Arsenal play beautiful footie and they are one of the best teams in the world

can that be said of your super eagles under Amodu?

we were once rated in the top 5 in the world! what happened to that?

we shall see against Egypt

So he won a continental cup with Aberdeen in 1983 and then came to Man U in 1986 but could not win the League until 1992?

So you realise sometimes even the greatest coaches on earth (which Amodu is not) need sometime to settle down to achieve and ingrain their system and style on their teams?

Amodu has come in and has not lost a game and has beaten France IN FRANCE when most of us (including me) were talking of a slaughter  grin but lets crucify him?

We have no players to generate that. Simplistico!

Italian coaches are respected despite playing graveyard football.

Amodu has not lost a game in 90 mins EVER with SE in 24 games. The least you can do is respect that the way you respect Italian coaches.

Abeg no o. By then my yet-to-be born kid would have developed serious hatred for the SE. At most after the world cup, except he equals or surpasses the African record of quarter finals.
