Hi guys, Pls i need info on the use of the sim slot which came with my dv6 laptop. i am wondering whether it is an option for a usb modem. if yes, my next question is how does it work since one needs to plug and play a regular modem in order to use it on any of the relevant networks? thanks all |

just insert d sim and am sure dere shd be a manager/wizzard wich will guide u on configuring d connection i.e if its not network-locked Post ur results lets know how it goes cheers |

I hav d sem sim slot on my Dell inspirion bt it does'nt show any manager wizard afta inserting d sim. Not really sure what that's for. |

I've seen it on ma compaq mini though its under the battery slot, i've been wonderin how it'll work but i had never inserted a sim. |

you should also search for HP Mobile Broadband Wireless sofrtware or wizzard |

all u need to do wen u have ur modem driver is to get avanquest mobile tool, that's wat i use wit my wit my mini laptop. is there any normal size laptop that has a sim slot?
