Why would God just hate esau (firstborn)and love jacob (second born) for no go reason even before they were born. is that not unfair and unjust.
i am from the family of six though the only boy. i got a mom who always remind me am cursed that all first born are.And giving the instances of people around it seems to be true. Frist born might be intelligent, brilliant and sometimes very hardworking but always end up not succeeding. Most second son doesn't even struggle to succeed. they just do it with less effort

Anyway the reason is simple, most times the first born is the test run. He has to figure it out for the rest while others learn from his mistakes

Of course there's are also several successful First borns that got it right, you just have to keep close mentorship from successful people to avert such mistakes.

All d best, and never believe in curses. Your mum constantly imprinting the idea in you is poor parenthood, it is she who "cursed you" by making you believe such.

bro chill..even in my extended family, all the first son's work as if the world is on them but the younger once always outshines them..
now my brother and i hmm,two different people. i carry first,,he carry second to last yet they will buy him gift and leave me out..
at a point in life i thought my parent hated me..even now he gets things don easily.. from getting a job without stress to getting any lady he want at will.
they learn from your mistake and use it well..all fingers are not equal..

Luke 2:23. We all make our own choices. If you believe you are cursed, then you will be but remember, God has redeemed us from the curse of the Law. It's just a dysfunctional system that is making it to seem as if guys are cursed but we have folks in other countries making it big time despite being first born.

Even though first or last or middle, excuse me, which does the Nigerian state favors? Better suck it up and take your destiny into your own hands before they speak evil into your life, and it is pathetic that you are siding with them.

Esau was like the first born and Jacob the second. Even tho Jacob got the blessing that was meant for Esau, Esau too made it but not as rich as Jacob.
From experience, and what I've been seeing, it seems the First born always have delays.
The second always get the best.
This is natural, all eyes are on the first born. The first child is the beginning of procreation in the family. If anyone want to direct anything to the family, it goes through the first born. The first born bears part of the problems of the parent.

Isaac prayed for Esau saying he shall be like a servant to the jnr ones and when he doesn't like it anymore, he will break forth and fight for his freedom.
So also the first child, when you become tired of these, you break yourself. So the ball is in your court whether you want it to continue or you want to take your place.

Something about the second child is, they learn from the first child, they are careful not to make the same mistakes the first child made and they're always competing with the first child. These things make them go faster.


In short, if you don't want it that way, change it yourself.
