Exactly the kind of response I expected.

No need to worry. Op when you're in the point of dying you would understand better. Being a Christian doesn't stop you from experiencing what others are experiencing, infact you would experience more that you might give up. But what differentiate a Christian (A true believer) is peace of mind, assurance that you would make heaven when you live according to his will

Only came to save You from eternal condemnation..satan has a place of his own.. leme explain to u.. Hell fire was made for satan..but satan wanted d creation of God i.e man to partakers of his doom... but God gave a ticket for rescue which u are rejecting presently... so he dusnt force anyone to worship him ok! It's a matter of choice dats y som1 like u can decide not to av d ticket

Is there any solid evidence that hell exists?

And if you claim Christ came to save us from eternal condemnation, what happened to the people born before Christ? Why would a loving God condemn people to hell for eternity? Why would God send his only begotten Son to die for the sins of the whole world when he can easily forgive our sins?

The will of God is for man to live right and make heaven. Live to his standard not our standard. He gave the laws written in his holy book

Fear. This is what your religion uses to put you under submission. You don't question your beliefs about your God and about your religion because you are afraid of receiving a gigantic slap from something you've never seen. Pity.

Why haven't the other atheists who have been critically examining your religion and heaving scathing remarks on your God received their own gigantic slap?

Unlike apostle Paul I have been a christian before, and for many years. And you are drawing a false parallel between me and the founder of your religion. I am not persecuting anyone. I haven't physically harmed anyone. I haven't even verbally abused anyone. All I am doing is trying to show you the flaws in your belief system and get you to engage with my argument and re-examine your beliefs. Of course I could be wrong, but how would you be certain about this if you fail to re-evaluate your beliefs?

It's OKAY to fear God. I have never seen him, true, but I feel his presence every day of my life. I once doubted God, but something happened and since that very day, I keep on professing that Jesus is my Lord and My God. If serving him is wrong, then lemme go on being wrong forever...

Because I examined my christian belief and I found it to be untenable. I studied the history of Christianity from different sources. I noticed the glaring contradictions and inconsistencies in the bible. I saw the barbaric edicts endorsed by the christian God in Leviticus and numbers, and I noticed the non-exclusivity of the claims in the bible and how patently obvious it was that theseclaims were borrowed from preceeding religions. I examined the framework of morality and justice erected within Christianity and realized how flawed it was. I read the old testament and realized that God was just a construction of the human mind because he exhibited traits that were so man-like, sometimes even child-like. I also studied about the claim about Jesus being the son of God. I compared arguments for and against this claim, especially with Christians and Jews on both sides of the argument, and I was persuaded by the later. I observed Christianity and saw how fragmented it was and how different fragments claimed to have the right doctrine and how their claim was reaffirmed by their relationship with God on a daily basis. I realized that either their God enjoyed causing confusion within his christian body, or they had a relationship with someone that didn't exist. I could go on and on.

Hindus, Muslims and subscribers to all the hundreds of religions that exist today also feel the presence of their own God in their lives. And they have experiences that reaffirm this belief. If we dignify every claim on the basis of subjective experience with non-concrete evidence, then we'd have a situation where every belief is true. And if every belief is true, then referring to all belief as true contradicts the claims of certain beliefs like christianity as being the one truth.

Proof is a complex thing. We go to court and what serves as proof for one lawyer isn't sufficient proof for another. There is no proof I will show you that can convince you. The only one that can convince you is personal proof and that you will experience soon.

God is just. A Just God means all sins must be punished. He is also merciful. Christianity is the only faith where Justice and Mercy meets. Because He is just, all sins must be punished. The wages of sin is death. Because he is merciful, He sends His son instead to die in our place. Our tiny brains can't phantom God my brother.

But it's still this same tiny brain you are using to describe him as just and merciful. If you can't phantom God, how then do you know all this about him?

I find it troubling that when you christians experience good happen in your life, or when you read a story in the bible where God does something good, then you forget you have tiny brains that can't phantom God and you use these tiny brains to define God as loving and caring and just, but when he does something bad or overtly immoral, like the barbaric and inhumane laws he endorsed in leviticus and numbers or the horrendous sanctioning of genocide in the old testament, you remember you have tiny brains that can't phantom him. I see this as a dangerous double standard and a failure to reason honestly and objectively.

Funny how you didn't reply my last post to you on why Christianity poses a threat to you but quickly jumped at this one. But seriously, why are you bothered about what God did in Leviticus if he is a fragment of man's imagination? Truth is, it is God's desire that we all know Him more. But if we can know everything about God then He isn't a God worth worshiping. As for what happened in Leviticus, when you create something, you determine what happens to whatever you create. The creation can't question the creator. And let's pretend these people destroyed by God where saints living normal lives. They where murderers, rapists and so on. I guess you cheer when soldiers wipe out Boko Haram camps? So why can't God wipe out evil from this world?

It is simple and tenable if you ask me.
Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, then accept Him as your Lord and personal Saviour.
Please, what other beliefs are you referring to?
Thanks.

I am a deist and this is my religious view.

"“The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend a personal God and avoid dogmas and theology. Covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things, natural and spiritual, as a meaningful unity "

I don't subscribe to any organized religion. I apply logic and reasoning to my rational thinking.
